Several years ago when I started publishing the Yamhill Advocate as an independent newspaper I infiltrated several Facebook groups used by political activists in Yamhill County, Oregon to organize what I concluded to be politically extremist behavior and campaigns. The activist group goes by the name of Progressive Yamhill, but in truth is merely one registered chapter of a significantly larger national organization which calls itself simply ‘Indivisible‘. Despite its tremendous influence in American politics it has somehow managed to stay under the radar and off the lips of popular media commentors and social media influencers who report on American politics. This in spite of that Indivisible is, at least in Oregon, a primary means through which Antifa is funded and organized. If one wishes to connect the dots between violent Antifa mob violence and political intimidation and fraud in local election campaigns in Oregon, one only needs to look into the activities of Oregon based Indivisible chapters to find this connection. The archived posts within the Progressive Yamhill chapter spanned multiple years, which I meticulously screen captured and analyzed, revealed this reality to me.
At the original time of publication I called all of this behavior out as clear criminal activity. Unfortunately, the state of Oregon such that it is, little to nothing was done to hold any of the people I exposed accountable for their crimes. I also met with FBI agents and provided them the entire archived message history of the Progressive Yamhill group chats, which I hoped would be used to connect further dots between other financial crimes, but this was of course during the Biden administration where the FBI had other priorities.
The political environment has once again changed, and so I am publishing this article to consolidate information from across my many articles and make it extremely simple for the FBI to use this information to begin actually dismantling Antifa’s infrastructure by understanding how it is actually funded, recruited for and organized through the Indivisible network, which for whatever reason has managed to stay under the radar.
The rest of this article will be a heavily condensed version of numerous past articles I have published on this website providing detailed evidence to support the claims made.
First let us have a discussion about how Antifa in practice functions:
What is Antifa?
Antifa is a decentralized network of political activists whose political ideology is often referred to as ‘Wokeism’. So to understand Antifa one must first understand the beliefs of those identifying as Antifa.
‘Wokeism’
This is a term that has emerged in contemporary discourse, often used to describe a cultural and political awareness of societal issues that is rooted in Postmodernist New Left philosophy concerning social and racial justice. It is not a formalized philosophical doctrine but rather a colloquial expression that has gained traction in public and academic debates, especially in the context of identity politics, social activism and cultural criticism.
The development of “Wokeism” can be seen as part of a broader historical context of civil rights and social justice movements. The term “woke” has its roots in the Black Radical Tradition of African-American centric political ideology and originally meant being “awake” to racial prejudice and discrimination. It gained mainstream recognition through its usage in the Black Lives Matter movement and other social justice campaigns which claimed to emphasize awareness of social inequalities, systemic racism and the need for inclusive and equitable practices.
Wokeism is characterized by an activist stance against racism, sexism and other forms of oppression as defined by New Left political ideologies such as Critical race theory, third wave feminism and Intersectionality that have become prominent in the contemporary Black Radical Tradition since the 1990s. As such the term ‘Wokeism’ today is used as an umbrella term to label a belief in a wide range of various New Left ideas rooted in Marxist thought, including Third wave Feminism, Epistemic Decolonization, Jacques Derrida’s Deconstruction theory and the Critical Theory associated with the Frankfurt School.
Generally speaking, adherents of Wokeism do not use the precise term ‘Wokeism’ themselves when referring to their beliefs, although they will use other terms such as ‘awake’ and ‘be woke’. From a purely philosophical position, Wokeism is generally equivalent to Intersectionality, which claims to examine the ways race, class, gender, and other identity categories intersect in systems of oppression by using an analytical method that incorporates all of the previously mentioned New Left concepts into a unified school of thought. Through this unifying Intersectionalists claim to examine the power dynamics in society, the construction of social identities and the impact of cultural narratives on perceptions of race, gender, and class.
(Note that if you want a detailed chronological history of the development of Wokeism / Intersectionality then I direct you to my 2001 article, The True Origins of Critical Race Theory and Anti-Racism Training. The ideology is often attributed as being the brainchild of Kimberle Crenshaw but this is quite inaccurate, as its pedigree goes back several decades prior to her coining the term ‘Intersectionality’.)
Despite its claimed intentions of promoting social justice and equality, “Wokeism” has faced significant criticism, which are criticisms generally shared with criticisms of Intersectionality. Critics argue that it leads to a form of cultural policing, where individuals or groups are quickly censured for perceived transgressions against the prevailing norms of political correctness. This, they argue, stifles free speech and leads to a culture of censorship.
Another criticism of Wokeism is that it prioritizes identity politics over broader socio economic issues, which results in fragmenting social movements into competing identity groups. Critics claim this approach detracts from addressing systemic issues like economic inequality and class struggles. Wokeism has also been critiqued for its emphasis on performative activism, also known as virtue signaling, where support for social justice causes is expressed more through social media and symbolic gestures than through sustained, substantive actions.
Intersectionality itself as a philosophical school of thought is also criticized for its contradictory nature. Chiefly, it is criticized for its heavy reliance on data produced by Empiricism schools of inquiry, such as from Sociology fields including psychology and political science, while simultaneously relying prominently on a framework rooted in Critical Theory which is inherently opposed to Empirical methods of inquiry into social issues. This tendency to rely on data that Critical Theory inherently claims to be mistaken results in Intersectionalist claims frequently violating a fundamental rule of logic, the Principle of Noncontradiction. Critics argue the violation of the Principle of Noncontradiction by Intersectionalists results in Intersectionalists able to prove any claim to be true, even if it is clearly not, resulting in another violation of logic, the Principle of Explosion. This, however, is generally unnoticed by the majority of both supporters and critics of Wokeism, as they are often not familiar enough with the nuances of philosophical rigor to identify these contradictions.
Tragically, while the American form of government deeply depends upon its citizens to be well versed in political philosophy in order to make good decisions at the ballot box (in particular Classical Liberalism and Republicanism, which are the political philosophies behind the drafting of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights) due to decades of failures of the nationalized public education system to adequately instruct generations of Americans in basic citizenry knowledge, most US citizens today possess only a surface level understanding of political philosophy and how the US government actually functions. This also explains why the term ‘Liberal’ has become a popular derogatory euphemism commonly used by Republicans against Democrats, despite that the Republican party platform is actually one that promotes a mixture of Classical Liberal and Libertarian values, whereas the Democrat party has long since abandoned promotion of Social Liberalism in favor of Marxism, an entirely different political philosophy that was expressly developed to oppose Liberalism. Consequently, the only political party in the US that advocates for Liberalism is the Republican Party, and the Democrats no longer resemble Liberals at all.
The Democrats preferred form of Marxism is so-called Democratic Socialism, which is only differentiated from other forms of Marxism by its tactics; instead of advocating for quick violent revolution to overthrow a Liberal government and replace it with a Socialist state, Democratic Socialists seek to use the existing democratic process of a country to gradually transition a Liberal nation into a Socialist one. Ironically, for all their claims of opposing Fascism, this tactic is identical to that which was used by both Benito Mussolini’s National Fascism Party and Adolf Hitler’s National Socialist German Workers’ Party (NAZI) to topple the Liberal constitutional governments of their respective countries. This should be unsurprising, as Mussolini was originally a Socialist and developed Fascism to address what he perceived to be failures with it. Indeed, had Mussolini not been expelled from the Italian Socialist Party for his support of Italy participating in World War 1 he may have never developed Fascism as an alternative to it at all.
So it is the widespread ignorance of the American people stemming from the failures of its public schools that has created the environment in which Marxist groups have gained tremendous influence. Marxist groups utilize pseudo-academic literature to promote ‘Critical Race Theory’, Third and Fourth Wave Feminism’ and ‘Epistemic Decolonization’ ideology which engages in historical revisionism to convince many Americans that Liberalism is wrong and that Marxism is morally superior, despite the unquestionable fact that every country which has ever put Marxism into practice as government has committed among the worst human rights violations.
Marxists will completely ignore the present day social conditions of the USA, which is the most prosperous nation in all of human history where people have the most amount of rights of any nation that has ever existed, to instead hyper-fixate on the short period of time early in its history where slavery still existed in a handful of states (1787 to 1865 — 78 years from the ratification of the US Constitution to the Civil War) and the Jim Crow era of the Southern States (1870s to 1960s — around 90 years).
Most importantly, Marxists do not compare this social transition to that of other nations; they do not acknowledge that while the USA post-US Constitution only had slavery for 78 years, legal slavery still exists in many nations in present day, as it has in those nations for hundreds of years.
They do not acknowledge that during this same 78 year time span slavery was legal in nearly every region of the planet, and that the USA is among the first nations to criminalize slavery.
They likewise ignore that the abolition of slavery movement was principally led by European Liberals, not Marxists. In fact, Marxist nations extensively use forced labor camps which is fundamentally slavery as those forced into these camps are only guilty of belonging to ethnic minority groups. As prime examples, the Soviet Union had the Gulag which enslaved Chechens, Ingush, Balkars, Karachays, Meskhetian Turks, Crimean Tatars, Kalmyks, and Volga Germans; Cuba has its UMAPs for political dissidents, Christians and gay men; and present day China has its Laogai to imprison Uyghur Muslims and other ethnic minorities into slavery. Nor do American Marxist activists acknowledge that legislation such as the Civil Rights Acts in the USA are not ubiquitous in other contemporary nations.
All of this contributes to the warped perception that the American Left has developed about the social conditions of the present day USA. They do not view history holistically, as they know very little genuine history to start with. They are also deeply ignorant about the nuances of political ideologies, to the degree that is a common for elected Democratic officials to accuse Republicans of being ‘fascists’ when the Republican platform is the complete opposite of Fascism, as Republicans favor minimal government regulation of private business and laissez-faire capitalism, whereas Fascism favors a state controlled economy that suppresses private property ownership. The Republicans also view the US Constitution as a sacred document, whereas Fascism is outright opposed to constitutional democratic republics in favor of a strong dictatorship modeled on the political structure of the ancient Roman Empire.
Yet, it is this gross distortion of facts that permits Antifa to find its role in the American Left.
Antifa as the ‘paramilitary’ arm of American Marxist activist groups
The contemporary Antifa that operates in the USA is loosely inspired by the Antifaschistische Aktion of the Communist Party of Germany, a political party that competed in elections against the Nazis in the German Weimar Republic in the interwar period before World War II.
This American Antifa movement claims to be anti-Fascist, but as Fascism does not exist in the USA political system, in reality this Antifa is an anti-government movement dedicated to overthrowing American Liberal democracy and replacing it with a Socialist state. Despite that actual real Fascism rejects capitalism in favor of state controlled economy, the modern Antifa has sought to redefine Fascism to mean support for capitalism as justification for the adoption of the Antifa moniker.
Antifa is decentralized in that rather than possessing one singular command hierarchy, Antifa is a confederacy of numerous Marxist groups, many of which are registered 501c3 nonprofits and many which are not. For example, in Portland the Rose City Antifa organization is not a registered corporation but operates a website, social media accounts, a mailing list and other electronic communication methods which are used to coordinate its members activities. Antifa’s full range of activities are difficult to track due to its decentralized nature where numerous different groups operating under different names (many of which do not expressly label themselves ‘Antifa’) carry out different functions for the movement. As an example, Portland Interfaith Clergy Resistance is an Antifa organization whose members belong to Progressive Christian denominations, primarily Quaker ones. The function of the group is to lend perceived credibility to Antifa mobs as so-called “peaceful protestors” when in actuality members of this group engage in the exact same violent behavior as other Antifa affiliates do.
Despite the claims of total grassroots and decentralization, in actual fact Antifa is centrally organized through the Indivisible network and related subnetworks under its control via grant funding programs.

Antifa groups rely heavily upon a propaganda tactic called framing. Like all Marxist groups, Antifa members are very well versed in propaganda, and teach each other how to frame their words to obscure their actual intentions, as shown in this section of a guide from the Up in Arms website,

The Up in Arms website is part of Indivisible’s Rural Organizing Project which is expressly designed to recruit Leftists in rural areas of the USA into Antifa related activities by first funneling them into Indivisible chapters operating in rural counties before radicalizing them into Antifa activities.
Once recruited into an Indivisible affiliated chapter such as Progressive Yamhill that operates in Yamhill County, Oregon, new recruits are assigned volunteer tasks to promote the organization’s agenda, often by participation in a wide number of other associated groups that have missions aligned with the social objectives of Indivisible. Indivisible’s national and state chapter sends orders down a chain of command, using the full weight of its membership to do everything from door to door canvasing during local elections to help get Indivisible affiliated candidates elected, to fundraising for Antifa activities. For example here is a list of Antifa related nonprofit groups that Progressive Yamhill members raised money for in 2020 during the Antifa attacks on the Portland Federal courthouse,

In this particular instance the money donated to these groups was collected through the sale of “In Our America” propaganda yard signs bearing the American flag but that subverts it by featuring Indivisible ideology written on the stripes. The Progressive Yamhill group had been selling these signs for several years to raise funds for many fringe Marxist aligned groups, and when you see these signs in your local neighborhood you can be confident that an Indivisible chapter is operating in your city.

On that note several years ago I used a computer software program to scrape the list of Indivisible chapters across the United States and their related Facebook groups used for organizing Antifa related activities. You can download the spreadsheet here.
How the Indivisible Organization Pulls the Strings Behind Antifa
Indivisible is ran by an Executive Leadership team that consists of married couple Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin. It is a nationwide organization that receives tremendous funding from organizations such as Open Society Foundations, and it also provides funding to its subsidiary chapters, primarily through its state chapters which in turn provide funding to local chapters within each state. The local chapters also do their own local fundraising, whose money are shifted to other groups throughout the state, as I provided an example of earlier.

The connection between Indivisible and groups such as Progressive Yamhill that provide funding to Antifa groups is quite clear; here is Megan Corvus, one of the leaders of the Progressive Yamhill group, discussing how she received training from the Indivisible organization.

Naturally this is unsurprising given Progressive Yamhill is listed as a registered chapter of Indivisible on its website,

The precise hierarchy of organizational relationships are often multi-tiered; for example in Oregon, Progressive Yamhill is an affiliate of Indivisible Oregon, which is also an affiliate of Action Together Oregon, which is a group on the Action Network platform, a company that provides a suite of software tools to assist with political activism.

The means through which the national Indivisible leadership control the subsidiary groups at the state and local (county and city) levels is as follows:
The National Indivisible leadership publish memos called “actions”, which they distribute to the state Indivisible chapters via emails. The state chapters in turn pass on these memos to their subsidiary local chapters that present themselves as grass-roots groups that operate at the municipal (city) and county levels. The names of these subsidiary splinter cell groups are not always obvious, but they tend to be named using words like ‘Indivisible’, ‘Progressive’ or ‘Equity’ or other CRT buzzwords. They also use words like ‘Revolution’ sometimes.
The coordination is organized via the publication of both public and private “actions” memos, often distributed through the state chapter’s main group social media groups (mainly private Facebook groups, but also through groups created on platforms such as the encrypted messaging application Signal), which are then reshared by leaders in the county-level and municipal-level groups to the sub-members. These ‘actions’ are a set of instructions for the indivisible members to carry out and they vary from fundraising activities, to letter writing campaigns to requests to appear at Antifa protest sites in their local geographic areas. By using these ‘actions’ the national Indivisible organization controls the Antifa movement while appearing to merely be a social activist organization.
There are times when these Indivisible groups try to claim that they are merely a kind of support network for Democrats, a place to discuss politics and that they are not actually engaged in political activity. This is a lie.

I also provide the following example from the Progressive Yamhill group where leader Megan Corvus chastises another member for posting about things unrelated to their local activism activities assigned to them by central Indivisible leadership,

Here is what is in that PY (Progressive Yamhill) Volunteer Sheet Corvus mentioned, by the way, just so you can clearly see that this is absolutely a group that engages in political activism and has clear leadership structure, and is not merely a casual discussion group.

So clearly as can be seen in these documents, they are well organized and possess clear command hierarchy at the local chapter levels, even.
The existence and influence of Progressive Yamhill in the affairs of Yamhill Co. cities and county government, and even state, is undeniable, especially given the individuals involved who are public officials and what activities they engage in within the groups. This is because many of the “calls to action” made within these private splinter groups at city and county level are specific to the election of certain members of the splinter groups themselves, who then use their elected offices to push the agenda of the splinter cells (such as Progressive Yamhill) and the Indivisible organization.
The role that Antifa plays in this organizational structure is multi-faceted; while the intimidation of conservative and moderate voters is an obvious and well understand aspect of Antifa activities, the other role Antifa has in Indivisible political activism is to mobilize a paramilitary force that can be activated during a socialist revolution. This is why Antifa interferes with federal law enforcement officers, such as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). It is not a coincidence that Portland Antifa is among the largest of these groups, as Indivisible has been extremely successful at infiltrating the Democratic Party of Oregon. Indivisible affiliated Democrat politicians account for the majority of the states’ Congressional seats, as well as local government officials in counties, cities and even special municipal districts such as school boards and recreational park districts. This can be easily verified by simply tracking the ubiquitous usage of Jef A. Green of C&E Systems as treasurer on political action committees to raise money and conduct campaign advertising for Indivisible affiliated candidates in Oregon.

An example of Green serving as treasurer of Oregon CARES, an Indivisible PAC that provides funding to Progressive Yamhill members who run for local elections.
Simply going to the ORESTAR website and searching for his name as treasurer reveals over 999 different PACs that Green has been listed on, all of which at the time of this writing are discontinued committees he has shut down. Further review of the finances of these PACs will also reveal a trend of Green shifting funds from one PAC he controls to another he also controls, as the money accumulated by the collection of PACs he serves as treasurer is often used to fund other Indivisible related PACs after the initial campaign has ended for that particular PAC. This is the main reason for why Green is preferably used as treasurer by the Democrats in Oregon.

Financial Motivations of Indivisible Aligned Activism
Despite the Socialism advocated for by members of Indivisible, what I have seen of the Progressive Yamhill chapter of the organization is anything but. When Indivisible aligned political candidates take office they divert public tax dollars into their own private companies by using networks of nonprofits to distribute the grants, which are effectively awarded to themselves since they control these nonprofits.
For evidence of this, I will direct you to several notable examples I have previously covered on the Yamhill Advocate,
- Former Newberg, Oregon mayor Rick Rogers used his tenure as mayor to create a scheme in which public tax dollars were directed to Newberg Habitat for Humanity, which Rick Rogers is a paid employee of.
- Newberg City Counselor Elise Hollamon has engaged in several schemes to divert tax dollars to various nonprofits and private companies she operates. The first of these is the Community Wellness Clinic that operates in the Newberg High School and is a project of her nonprofit, Community Wellness Coalition. Another is the Peace Trail Village project, which Hollaman voted to award ARPA funding to despite her association with it through her own nonprofit, the Community Wellness Coalition. Hollamon also voted alongside former councilwoman Stephanie Findley to award ARPA grant money to Newberg Harvest House, which Findley was an employee of and which Hollamon operated via the Community Wellness Coalition.
- Other ARPA funds were provided to nonprofits and businesses owned and associated with Progressive Yamhill members, including the nonprofit Newberg Downtown Coalition which I believe is a fraudulent charity.
The average person would think this is clearly illegal behavior but unfortunately Oregon permits politicians to award funds to nonprofits they are affiliated. This was achieved by creating a legal definition for ‘potential conflict of interest’ that exempts membership in a nonprofit corporations from consideration as a conflict of interest.
244.020 Definitions. (13) (C) provides this exemption,
“Potential conflict of interest” means any action or any decision or recommendation by a person acting in a capacity as a public official, the effect of which could be to the private pecuniary benefit or detriment of the person or the person’s relative, or a business with which the person or the person’s relative is associated, unless the pecuniary benefit or detriment arises out of the following:
(c) Membership in or membership on the board of directors of a nonprofit corporation that is tax-exempt under section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code.“
Furthermore the Democrats removed the ability for local district attorneys and police to investigate unethical behavior of public officials, moving it to the responsibility of the Oregon Government Ethics Commission, whose members are appointed by the state governor. This commission almost never punishes any reported violations of laws committed by Democrat aligned politicians. These two factors permit Democrats in the state of Oregon to openly funnel tax dollars into their own nonprofits, where in other states this would be viewed as a clear case of conflict of interest.
So what anyone who digs into the activities of Oregon Democrat politicians will find is that they enrich themselves by diverting public dollars into nonprofits they control and then in turn divert that money into other private groups, bonuses and other kinds of ways to compensate themselves and their network of political associates. It would not be a stretch to accuse the Democrats of operating the state of Oregon as an enormous money laundering scheme of numerous nonprofits controlled by politicians and their families, for that is precisely what they do. They have set it up in such a way they will never be held accountable for what should be clear criminal activity.
So now you may understand at this point exactly how this scheme works. Marxist Democrats who desire to pilfer public tax dollars for self-enrichment use the Indivisible network to build support for their election campaigns, knowing that once they are in office they can use their positions to award grant money to nonprofits they are associated with and thereby enrich themselves. They have setup the Oregon Government Ethics Commission so they will never be held criminally responsible for what should be embezzlement in any other circumstance.
Meanwhile, they frame Republican candidates as “fascists” merely for their support of Capitalism, while in practice the Democrats divert public money into their own pockets under the guise of charitable social projects. The rhetoric of groups such as Antifa are smokescreens used to indoctrinate Democrat voters into a radicalized support base as the Oregon Democrats chip away at civil liberties (such as gun ownership rights and freedom of speech) as they gradually transform Oregon into a single party socialist state with the passing of legislation every year. This is why taxes in Oregon continue to get higher and higher, yet quality of services worsens and social issues like homelessness are never solved. Tax dollars are not being spent wisely into productive aims that improve the quality of life for those whom are taxed, but are instead channeled into questionable “charitable” organizations that are controlled by Oregon Democrat politicians across the state. That is the reality of the state of politics in Oregon.
Open Letter to the FBI
It is beyond my ability to unravel the full network of relationships between Indivisible organizations, Antifa cells and Democrat politicians in the state of Oregon. As an independent journalist I am greatly limited by time and money. The information I have shared over the years on the Yamhill Advocate website took many years to acquire and piece together, and monetary expenses such as public records requests numbering in the tens of thousands of dollars. I believe it will take the resources of federal investigators to weed through the lies and corruption in Oregon but at the root of it I am confident you will find the information necessary to dismantle Antifa.
I hope that the FBI will open an investigation into the Indivisible network for its ties to Antifa, which should now be quite obvious to anyone who has read this article, using the collection of hundreds of documents I provided to the FBI’s Oregon office several years ago when I first infiltrated the Progressive Yamhill group.
